Make a statement bowl and plinth arrangement, followed by professional photoshoot for your portfolio and online content. Guided by event florists Little Botanica and Starry Skies Floristry, then photographed by Andrew Cawley.
We will use the latest trend lead blooms and each create a contemporary and high end bowl arrangement which we will then style on plinths, using props such as fabrics, fruit and other editorial inspired elements. (example stems: relflexed Roses, Anthurium, Hydrangea, Amaranthus, Bear Grass and orchids).
This full day group course is designed to set you up, not only with the support to create something contemporary and trend lead, but to also ensure you have professional photos for your portfolio and online platforms. We guide you through how to create a large vessel and plinth arrangement, using premium blooms such as Hydrangea, Anthurium , Amaranthus and more. We will create a set onsite where you can practice styling your flowers on plinths and having creative direction for a professional photography shoot. We will have props such as fabric, fruit, and different backdrop options.
A chance to really experiment with modern form and style. Whether you are already a florist who wants to experiment with a new style, or whether you are brand new to floristry, this is a chance to create something portfolio worthy with the professional photos to capture it. We have teamed up with professional photographer Andrew Cawley who will capture photos of you work and your arrangement, which will be sent to you following the course so you can use for your social media and website.
This will be a group of 10 maximum, so that we can offer the support and attention needed.
